Andrew C. Beechtree

Beech, as we called him in the Army, was my roommate and dear friend. Unfortunately, we lost contact, as I spent many years overseas. I learned of his death, when his name came to me in a dream a few days ago.
I know he watches over me, as he did when we were roommates (He was senior to me, and would never allow anyone to harass me. ).

I am greatly saddened to hear of Andew's passing. I had the pleasure of sharing a classroom with him for several months at Immaculate Heart of Mary School and witnessed the immense rapport he had with his students, in addition to having some very interesting conversations with him! Gone much, much too soon. My heart goes out to his wife and family.

I met Andrew in 1991 when we taught in the same House. It was not long before he became part of our Hanna Acres/NACPISI group. He was always interesting to talk to, whether the topic be history, politics, sports, education. He got me a position at Summerfest, and I was very happy to help him out later. He loved teaching and the Packers and Kathy. He will be missed-gone much too soon.

My deepest sincerest condolences go out to the Beechtree family , Mr. Beechtree was my daughters 8th grade teacher at OLGA! Although Mr. Beechtree were there just a year Im so happy my daughter Mikala and I got a chance to meet him . My daughter is saddened as well as myself !
