Not sure what to say?

Ralph Waldo Emerson said it best, "To laugh often and love much, to win the respect of intelligent persons and the affection of children; to earn the approbation of honest citizens and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty; to find the best in others, to give of oneself, to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to have played and laughed with enthusiasm and sung with exultation; to know even one life has...

Martha: I am saddened to hear about Andrew's death. His "fight" was valiant, done with dignity and courage. He was a lovely, gentle man; it was an honor to know him. He was very lucky to have you in his life. He will be missed.

I have thoughts of Andrew as a young man in East Aurora. I met Andy at a gathering for Transcendental Meditation. He was a young man trying to make this world a better place.
He was looking for a wife, not a temporary relationship. He made that clear. He had specific criteria that reflected his values. He wanted someone that would love him, all of him, imperfections and all. He wanted someone that shared his values of loyalty, dignity and honesty. Then he found Martha. He said he had...

Dear Julianna, Caleb and Martha
What an incredible loss. I am so sorry, it was too soon.
Love, Rita Buckley

Although I did not have much contact in our later years, I do have fond memories of Andrew and the entire Bergman Family. Especially going to the house in Bethpage and spending time with Aunt Shirley and Andrew which I really enjoyed. When I think of Andrew these words always come to mind. Kind, Loving, Passionate and Articulate in every way. I know that he touched alot of people along the way and his legacy will not be forgotten.

I am so sorry to hear about my cousin Andrew's passing. I do wish I had been closer in the our latter years. I do have fond memories in the early days of our lives when he visited our family in Baltimore and many others. Best wishes to the entire Bergman family from the Hepners.

Dear Martha and Juliana,
Jim and I send our deepest sympathy. You and Andrew will always be part of our East Aurora memories - like the night when we couldn't get up our snowy hill and knocked on your door to spend the night. You both welcomed us right in. We will keep you in our thoughts.
Love, Betty and Jim
