I think about Dr. Berish often. He was a great doctor and wonderful human being. He was there for my children from the moment they were born until they went to college. He will be in our hearts forever.

To Adam: I am so sorry about the loss of your father so long ago. Please express the same to rest of the family. Barry Laskoe

We all loved Dr. Berish. I first met him when he was giving a course at White Plains Hospital for expecting parents. I knew right then I wanted him to be our pediatrician. My two girls went to him until they were 18. Always so kind. I too was just thinking about him and did a search and sad to find out this news. RIP Dr. Berish.

I posted this 4yrs ago, but I left in some typos. This is the edited version: I am deeply saddened by this news. Dr Andy was my doctor growing up. I was born with a physical disability. From the very beginning, Dr Andy was amazing to my mom and my family. My thoughts go out to his family.

I will forever have a special place in my heart for Andy Berish. He was the most wonderful and compassionate doctor. He was a dear friend who went beyond his doctor duties to help my family.

Unfortunately I just found out about Dr. Andy because my son who was his patient (now 32) looked him up. I wish I had known earlier. He was a very special person and great doctor. I still remember many of the things he used to say in regard to the care of my children. I don't know if he had returned from California because the last time we spoke he was still there. He will be missed and will always be in my heart. I know that it's a long time from when this obituary was posted, but If Adam...
