Not sure what to say?

I met Andy on July 3, 1967, the day he and I started to work for Delta Air Lines. We sat beside each other for seven weeks of classroom work, and we stayed close forever. We spend many days while staying in his Airstream trailer, hunting, fishing, and snow skiing together. He was and still is my Best Friend Forever.

BISE Fly-In 2011

I have known Andy for over 50 years. We met at Shilling AFB in Salina, KS where we flew the KC-97. Then we went through KC-135 at Castle AFB in Merced, CA. After the AF, Andy went with Delta and I went with Braniff -- both based in Dallas, TX. We even lived together for a short time. We saw lots of good times and some not so good times together.
We will miss the good ole, hardheaded, cantankerous Andy Brown.
Safe flight West to my friend.

Please accept my deepest sympathies.

Sometimes we called him Andy, sometimes "AP", sometimes "Grandma" but we always called him a good friend. He and I sailed together, did years of ALPA work together, drank together and never failed to laugh together-and that's the thing I will miss the most. No more worrying about contracts or bankruptcies or surgeries, ol' buddy--good flight.

Can Foster

Spent a short time with Andy learning to fly and saw him a few times afterwards but he became a brother for life. Miss him.

Andy and I were Air Force pilots at Schilling AFB (Salina) KS in 1964-65 and later Delta pilots until his retirement.

He was a magnificent pilot and my great friend for fifty years.

Andy and I first met after flying together out of Love Field on the DC-8. As a new hire, can you imagine Captain Brown as a flight engineer? From that point on we became life long friends. I will miss our "spirited discussions," our numerous hunting trips, and his friendship through these many years.
