Read MoreWe were engaged in our 20's. It didn't work out, but we left on good terms. I knew his mom. She was a nice lady. We met again in 2017 or 2018. Talked to each other. I just put his name in Google to see if I could find his phone number and say hi and then I found his obituary. This just shocked me. I hope I see him when I am in heaven. Michelle

I found out too late. We met in high school. He always kind, helpful and like a big bear. I cant believe he's gone. I wish i knew what happened. He has alot of high school friends that would like to know what happened. Rest in peace my sweet friend.

Elwood was always kind and sweet. I remember him at family gatherings when he was little. Elwood was thoughtful enough to take time to come to my mom's (his great aunt's) 90th birthday party. Visiting with him was a real blessing and a fond memory for me. Living in South Dakota, I didn't get to see him often. May his legacy and sweet spirit continue to be a blessing to many.
