Read MoreAndy was best man at our wedding and a true friend to both of us. He used to make me fudge as a gift because he knew I loved it. I remember how athletic he was. My husband and I could barely keep up with him bicycling, and he once pulled me out of Hanging Rock chimney with one arm when I was stuck. He was smart, kind, and creative. He will be missed.

Andy and I started at Campbell University on the same day in 1989. He was the first person I met in the parking lot on the way to new faculty orientation. He was a great guy! Funny with a quick wit. Students always gave his classes great reviews. Andy is probably now teaching magic tricks to St. Peter! My sincerest of condolences to his family.
