Dearest Susie & Family: Although we only met Andrew once, we are deeply saddened to hear of his recent passing. I remember a kind, gentle and open hearted man whom I wish we could have known better.
He was most certainly brave and a light that shone brightly. Our sincere condolences to you and your family members at this difficult time,

Andrew was a terrific person who always made everyone laugh at school. I will always remember the good times we had throughout our years at P.C.S.S.

Susie,
I won't confess to knowing Andrew well but will say that our last interaction (2 months ago) highlighted the character I imagine he was. He spoke about the upcoming hockey season for Campbell and how meaningless in the long game he thought it was to cut kids/good families from a hockey team. For this, my memory of Andrew will include selfless to complement the grace and dignity I just read about his cancer fight.
