To the family and friends of Lance Cpl. Andrew Carpenter:
Remembering Andrew on the anniversary of his passing. May our fallen heroes never be forgotten.

Hello my name is Leslie Herring. I am contacting you because Hendersonville Running Club is honoring our Run for the Fallen..the fallen of Sumner County. Please come in rememberance of LCPL Andrew Carpenter..Aug 11,2012 at 8am Drakes Creek Park in Hendersonville. We would love to have you a part of this event. Thanks to you and your family for your sacrifice!

I just want you to know that while I never met Mr. Carpenter, it grieves me to know he is gone from you. I pray God will comfort you in your grief and that He will replace the things that you hoped for, the things "that will never be" with abundant life and joy in its time once again. May the God of hope and His only Son, Jesus Christ, be your hope and strength.

There are no words to cover your loss, but know that we who live free and raise our children and grandchildren in freedom...will always be grateful for the great sacrifice you and your family have given for us. May the Lord comfort and guide you...and may Jesus carry you until you meet again!
