Andrew Cecil Carter

Hi,
I was on my way to North Dakota last Thursday, reading the Mattoon paper when I came across the death of A.C. Carter, better know to me as the rock man, who always came to the Arthur Cheese Festival. I am the vendor chairman for the Arthur festivals and ever since I have been chairman I have fond memories of A.C. My sympathy is with his family, I know this kind man will be missed by many, many people. His booth was always a delight to have at our festivals.

Jeanine, I am sorry to hear of your father's death. He lived a long life. Sorry, we could not be at the visitation, Dick and I send our prayers to you and your family.

Marilyn, Aileen had told me your Dad was not well so we send our condolences. Ninety-eight years is a long time to live and he certainly did enjoy life. Dale's Dad celebrated 98 years on April 5 but he's in the nursing home for the past 2 years and not able to care for himself. He's ready to go anytime God is ready for him. We are moving to Warrensburg, MO. because our son, David, is now coaching there and we'll move around July 1. Glad for the computer and it brings the Decatur newspaper to...
