Andy was truly an asset, not just to Suffolk, but to the entire region. He loved the arts and worked tirelessly to make sure everyone got the opportunity to enjoy them. Thanks to him, Suffolk will always be surprising. I am grateful and honored to have known him. I am glad he shared his talents, his hard work, and his passion with our part of the world. Thank you, Andy, for everything.

I always thought that Mr. Damiani was the Energizer Bunny- he never stops. I can still see him walking out of Plaid Turnip or strolling down the street talking to people. I will miss talking to him . He was a good man. I will pray for you, your family and your friends.

I have always said that Mr. Damiani was like the Energizer bunny- he just never stops. Even as I write this I expect to see him walking out of the Plaid Turnip or strolling down the street. I will miss talking to you downtown. Suffolk has lost good man. My prayers are with you, your family and friends.

I always enjoyed watching you walking and talking to people downtown. I admired all that you have accomplished. You will be missed by many. Praying for you and your family.

Many thanks to Andy for his friendship and his love and support of Suffolk Sister Cities International. I will remember you always and appreciate your efforts to initiate our very first sister city relationship when you were our mayor.
Heaven couldn't wait any longer for you.
God bless.

My prayers are with the family and friends of Mr. Damiani. I will certainly miss seeing his smiling face around Downtown Suffolk.
