Not sure what to say?

This year is the 20th Anniversary of Hurricane Katrina. On Facebook, there's a link https://acloserwalknola.com about the resilience of the music in NOLA. The article mentions Fairview Baptist Church. I have known The Darby and The White Families for a long time. When I got married in Mississippi, Rev. Darby said the prayer over us. RIP, Rev. You gave us your best. Sandra Lewis-Myles

You Are Truly Missed

To Vanessa and the Darby Family, Our deepest sympathy to you for Rev Darby was always kind and welcoming no matter where he meet you. Continue to hold on to God.

Back when I was a child, before life removed all the innocence, my father would lift me up high...If I could get another walk another chance, I would love to dance with my father again. I am assured you made your peace with me and with God. Rest eternally with Momma and Drew. I will see you all again. Missing you

Your baby, Sharon Vanessa

To Sis Darby and the Family of Pastor Andrew Darby:
I was saddened to read of the passing of Pastor Darby. My late grandmother, Marietta Bell, and pastor Darby attending Union Baptist Theological Seminary together. I have know Pastor Darby since my youth working with the La Freedmen Assn's Youth Dept. I have had many wonderful and blessed conversations with Pastor Darby and he will certainly be missed. Know that he has transitioned to his heavenly home with his Savior. May God continue to...

Our prayers and thoughts are with the family. Another of God's soldiers called home. May God's strength empower you during this time.
