Not sure what to say?

Just came upon this. So sorry for your loss, Nancy. I think of your family often.
Jim Salling (cousin)

Andy was an extraordinary man. It was such an irreplaceable loss. It has been an honor and privilege to know and work with Andy. I'm still shocked that Andy is no longer with us in this world! I will always miss him.

My dear friend, Andy Diehl was a remarkable physician, a superb educator, a very effective leader. He was an excellent example to young physicians of what is important as one pursues a career in medicine. My sympathy to the family of Andy Diehl. I know they will miss him and we physicians in academic medicine in Texas certainly will miss him.

So sorry to hear. A warm hug to the family in honor and with deep respect for a superb clinician, kind-hearted colleague and incredible human being.

Andy and I graduated High School in the same year; he showed me a clipping at one of my medical appointments. He was a great doctor and a true gentleman. I have missed him ever since our last appointment. May he rest in peace.

I am sad to hear of your loss. I had worked with Dr. Diehl for many years, I made his appointments at the clinic in UHS hospital when we worked together. He always made me laugh when he came into the clinic every Wednesday afternoon. He will be missed by all. He was a great person.

I also extend my deepest sympathies to Andy's family. What a legacy of friendship, kindness for others, and dedication to service he leaves. I am lucky to have had him as a "caring chief" during my 12 year association with UTHSCSA. His smile, wit, and concerned guidance are missed.

A great guy - sadly missed.

I knew Andy as a fellow governor and friend. He offered knowledge, insite and most importnantly was a kind person with a great sense of humor. He is missed.
