ANDREW 'ANDY' WILLIAM DUTTON ~~ DEVOTED TO HIS CHILDREN, DOUGLAS & ERICA Mr. Dutton, age 59, died suddenly on Sunday, December 27, 2009, at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. He was born on September 16, 1950 in Niagara Falls, New York. He had been a resident of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan since 1995, and was a former resident of Clarkston and White Lake Township, Michigan. Education: Mr. Dutton graduated from GMI (General Motors Institute), and subsequently earned an MBA from Michigan State University. Occupation: He retired at the age of 49, from AT & T, as Vice-President of Marketing. Formerly, he had worked with Michigan Bell, SBC, and Ameritech, which were all the same company. He was a licensed builder to rehab houses. While a student at GMI, he did an internship at General Motors. Mr. Dutton was a member of Alpha Tau Omega, Lutheran Church of the Redeemer (Birmingham, MI), and also of Oakland Hills Country Club (Bloomfield Hills, MI), where he played golf frequently. Mr. Dutton was an avid golfer, and he enjoyed spending time at the Higgins Lake cottage and all the water sports associated with it. He loved to fix things around his own house and for his friends as well. He was always willing to grab a hammer and nails and go to work. Family and friends will remember him as a fun guy, a jokester, very friendly - and he knew everybody. He was helpful, responsible, and worked hard.
