Not sure what to say?

My condolences on the loss of Andy. It was a privilege to have been his teammate at Carleton.

Very sorry to hear about Andy. He was a few years ahead of me at Carleton but I remember him both well and fondly. He was a role model for us young guys on the football team. My sincere condolences to his family. You are all in our prayers.

It has been around twenty-five years since I last spoke with Andy, but I remember him vividly as a genuinely nice, honest and dependable guy. The world is a poorer place with his absence.

Sending our heartfelt sympathies to all the Engels.
Peace, hope and love be with you.

Jack,Brandon, and I want to let your family know how sorry we are to hear about the passing of a wonderful husband and father. We feel very greatful that we had the chance to know him.

So sorry to hear, such a shock. Can't understand what you're going through. I'll be praying for you guys

When I heard of Andy's death, I was literally speechless. Knowing Andy from high school, he was one of those personalities that always came across as unflappable and indestructible. Days later I still am trying to find the right words. I find some comfort in the fact that my memories are always of a man with a soft smile and a dry wit. No question he left the world a better place.

So sad to hear of Andy's death. Just a year older at STA but still one of the South Minneapolis contingent, I enjoyed Andy's company during my time in high school and the handful of times we ran into each other over the past 30 years or so. He was a good, trustworthy guy with a heart of gold and a lot of integrity. My prayers and sympathies to his immediate and extended family.

Dear Kathy, Rachel, Peter, Jack and Thomas,
We are thinking about all of you as you go through this hardest of times. John and I always enjoyed our times with you and Andy. I loved his sense of humor and true social commitment to all. We miss him very much already.
