Not sure what to say?

To family and friends of Dr. Foy, I am so sorry for your loss. I will never forget him! He delivered the news that my son did not have cancer on Christmas eve 2013. For a widowed mother of a 12 year old with a brain tumor, this was the greatest Christmas gift ever. We last saw him 2 years ago and again more great news from him, my son was released from neurosurgery because it was 10 years. What a kind, wonderful person and neurosurgeon he was. My thoughts and prayers to you during this...

I met Dr Foy when my youngest son was taken to the ER at children´s Wisconsin. My son, a few months earlier had to have surgery when a piece of rebar struck him in the head. The plate that was placed in his head, got a staphylococcus infection and had to be removed. Dr Foy was the one who we met in the ER who performed the removal surgery on my son. Dr Foy is one of the phenomenal people who have taken care of my son. My condolences and deepest gratitude to his family. Words cannot express...

Single Memorial Tree

Andy and I met at Barrington High school swim meets where my son Jason and he were on the same team. I had the pleasure of becoming friends with Andy's parents Mimi and Larry and sharing our sons success. Andy always had the Foy attitude about life and treated everyone with kindness and respect. There was never a doubt to Andy's success but you would not know it meeting with him. We were blessed to have Andy in our life and his incredible legacy will live on with all that had the pleasure of...

Yes, Andy started at Children's in 2011 and that is where I met him in clinical settings. He was always a great MD to work with - always had a smile on his face and easy to engage and a gentile soul. He was instrumental in the Spina bifida clinic at Children's and took on complex brain tumors in kids and I would do intraoperative monitoring for his cases. He was always a great colleague to work with. I was shocked about his passing. Very had to understand.

Yes, Andy began at Children's in 2011 and there is where I met him in clinical settings. I would provide monitoring of his cases and provide feedback. I was able to converse with him over time and found him to be very a engaging person - a gentile soul and a delight to work with. He was instrumental is starting the Spina bifida clinic and also took on pediatric NSG complex brain tumors and I would help him with intraoperative monitoring for his cases. He was a great colleague in the OR and in...
