I knew Andy for many years from his visits to the comic store. We would talk about superheros, and our favorite writers and artists of comic books. My Mother passed away from Cancer in 2015, so when Andy told me of his illness, I gave him the best pep talk I could muster. "My Mom was in her 70's and you're a young man buddy!", I told him. We exchanged phone numbers, and I would text him every couple weeks if I didn't see him at the store. I'd ask him about his treatment, and push him to eat...
