Not sure what to say?

I have many great memories of Andy, starting in the 70s when he held court at Irv's. That was a special time, and Andy will always be part of that for me. Andy was a kind and generous human being, and truly unique. I'll always remember him.

To Honor Andy's Memory: Family & Friends will gather for a Memorial Open House on Thanksgiving Sunday, November 25th, from 11 A.M. to 2 P.M., at the Academy Tavern, 12800 Larchmere Blvd. in Cleveland, north & west of Shaker Square. Join us to Celebrate Andy's memory, to Share recollections of him, and to Comfort one another.

Andy will live on in all who knew him.

Andy: A gentle giant, a wise faithful friend, my "Uncle Fetzer". I know we'll be meeting again in the eternal, spiritual, astral version of Tommy's. Good speed to you.

Andy was a true friend going back to 1968. His sense of humor and icredible wit have had a profound influence on my life.

The memories keep flooding in.
Those many nights in the famous East Cleveland apartment where we solved all the worlds problems.
The simple pleasures talking about animals and a thousand other things.

I shall miss him immensely but will carry him in my heart forever.

I remember late nights at the all-night cafe on Shaker Square. My friends and I attended the cafe frequently. He was one of a collection of characters that made the cafe very special.

Andy had some wonderful and soulful stories. His stories were always unusual and interesting. Indeed, so much so, that his perspective on life became a part of me.

Thank you Andy for making our lives a little better for having known you. Our memory of you will live long into the future.

I will miss you my sweet. I'm thankful that I got to see you one more time. Your generous heart and wisdom is still helping me. I love you and will miss you.

Andrew, or Andy, was in my homeroom at Monticello Junior High School from 1960-63. We were good friends and I appreciated his droll, warm wit. He was friendly and well-liked by all who knew him. If the past is prologue, as they say, then I'm sure Andrew left the world a better place for his having passed through it and that he is missed by many, many friends.

You are in my thoughts and prayers.
