Not sure what to say?

To the Grecko family,
Andy was passionate about his umpiring. I loved to hear his stories. Andy was also a passionate tool/model maker in IBM. That is where I knew him best as a maintenance man. I was starting out while Andy had lots of experience behind him. Andy never hesitated to help me along the way. He taught me how to use the machines to make a repair to a part. I am indebted to him in many ways for my success. God Bless each of you. Thank You Andy!

I remember Andy Grecko and all the wonderful men on St.James Choir back in the day....1960's....What a great fellowship with these men and their families, and I still regard that time as precious in my entire life. As we lose these cherished parents, may we double our efforts to follow their great example.

Andy was such a great spokesman for the game of baseball. He told me he never missed one in his heart. God must have needed a umpire in heaven, and he will make the call.

I will always remember Andy and my Dad (Frank Palermo) umpiring together. Andy would always call and schedule my Dad's games and he would always joke with me on the phone. Dad so respected Andy and they become friends.

Andy was a very good friend to my dad, Bill Kosik. He enjoyed Andy's friendship very much. I remember all the times they visited and talked about baseball and umpiring. You have my deepest sympathy.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

Dear Nancy & Family:
Please accept my Prayers and Condolences for Andy. He an excellent mentor to me and many successful Binghamton Umpires. He was the Best Plate Umpire I ever worked with. May he rest in Peace.

I'll pray for Andy & his family.

Andy...as my assignor with the Binghamton Umpires Assoc. you were my mentor and my friend. I have such fond memories of you. And eveytime I walk onto a baseball diamond, a little bit of Andy Greko goes with me. Eternal rest.
