Andrew Michael Grimland

Andy was the fiercest competitor I ever encountered. Whether on the athletic fields or in the academic classroom setting, Andy possessed a singular focus on nothing less than success. Andy kept us in contact with his yearly Strake Jesuit St Patrick's Day reunions at Keneally's Irish Pub located on Shepherd Drive. I just learned of Andy's passing. He was my Attorney through an extremely difficult divorce. I'm so sorry to hear that he has passed.

Andrew drove me around Houston on a 4th of July visit about 20 years ago. It was our 1st time meeting. He showed me a fountain my Dad was famous for and made laugh the whole time with his stories as we drove around Houston. I'm sad we didn't stay in touch.

Andy and I walked to high school together, played guitar, studied at UT (a lot). I would have liked to catch up again sometime. Alas, goodbye, old Friend.

Kleo, I was sorry to hear the news of Andrew´s passing. You had so much to be proud of in him. We are thinking of you and your family at this difficult time.

Andy was my friend... He was his own man from an early age and was loyal to those who loved him, and he loved back. He wanted to do so much more in this life, and was taken from us way too early. I look forward to seeing his family and our mutual posse of friends, and celebrating his life. I will forever mourn his passing and will never forget him, and our friendship. RIP ANDY...I LOVE YOU MAN.

So sorry to hear of Andy´s passing. I loved spending my entire senior at Strake Jesuit sitting behind his front row seat ( not his choice but alphabetical order in snake fashion) in Fr. Leininger´s AC Calculus class. He was always good for a provocative discussion or a good laugh. May God´s Peace be with him and may God´s Grace be with his family and friends.
