Not sure what to say?

This is a soul baring post. Andrew, my former husband, has passed away suddenly. A short illness that subverted his plans to visit me. He was a very bright, funny man who like Rumpole had practiced law until he got good at it. He loved dogs, long fast walks, cycling, Joan Baez and Pete Seeger, the Australian bush, an old Porsche, was nearly fearless, traveled the world (including with me), was determined and survived a horrific accident where he was cycling and hit by a drunk driver. Christmas at the Armstrongs

Andrew, you were a part of our family and it saddens me to hear that you have left this world so soon. I know you are at peace and looking over everyone you love from above. My aunt Louise has gained another wonderful guardian angel. Thank you for warm childhood memories and for always making your home another home for me too. I'm glad that you and Louise had made plans to reunite and I hope that gave you peaceful and happy thoughts when you left this earth. You are truly missed.

Andrew with Fluffy

Andrew, you brought much laughter and love to my life from 1997 when we met in England to California in 2009. We had so many adventures from Princess Diana's funeral to Paris to Hong Kong to London terrorist attacks and getting stranded. I loved that we reconnected in the last year and you wanted to visit this fall. You would have enjoyed the thoroughbred racing at Santa Anita and Keeneland. Andrew, you are loved and missed.
