I was one of those genertions as well, I spent a lot of time roaming the church with Andy when everyone else was practicing the bells or cleaning the kitchen. He was so kind, honest and made conversation with a 10 year old like i was one of the important adults. He was a special man and we were all lucky to know him.

I was also blessed to have grown up at Pilgrim Church- my birthday was the day before Andy's so we shared a special bond wishing each other a happy birthday each year. I also have fond memories of him showing movies (Dick Whittington and His Cats!)for the kids in the narthex while the parents were in the annual meeting each year. He holds a special place in all our hearts.

I was one of those generations. I knew Andy when I was a little kid through my teenage years at Pilgrim church in 1960-70's. What a beautiful soul..he was one of those people who influence your life. God bless you Andy.

Andy was Pilgrim church. He never missed opening the door for us when we came to church on Sundays. He orchestrated my weddings, the childrens' baptisms, all the church dinners and programs and saw that the church was spotless. He always had a kind word for everyone. He sang in the choir. He cheered on the basketball teams. His name was synonymous with Pilgrim. We will miss him. Heaven will be blessed with his arrival.

Andy was such a special part of Pilgrim Church for me. It wasnt a Sunday morning without Andy being at the door, holding it open and greeting everyone that walked in. He will be missed and is always loved.
