He was the best husband, father, grandfather.Ask Andy for any help he was there always. He was that way from the day I met him on 1963. He loved his family and friends very much. Kind and generous always.My parents didnt like him at first... Not Italian. They got to know him and love him. I am so glad I married him. I will miss him forever. Mrs. Hammer, Lee and family. Very sorry to hear about your loss. I will always remember him as a starter for swimming and an active and loving parent/leader of our swim team growing up. Mr. Hammer was one of the "good guys" and made a positive impact on the world. Take care and God Bless.
