Not sure what to say?

Andy and I worked together in the early days. He was a great man and he helped me out as I pursued my time in the media. Carol, I know he is in heaven and is watching over you and your family.

May God rest his soul! Andy was one of my favorite writers back in the days of "four corners" for the VISITOR, What deep faith he shared with all our readers. Fr. Ralph G. Zimmerman

I find it interesting that I learned of Andy's passing from a stray newspaper laying on a lunch table during an infrequent business trip to the area. You see Andy and his partners purchased WJON from my father John Haerle a long time ago. I'm very happy for him and his family to achieve and to have lived what appears to be a very influential life in the Radio Business, the community and most importantly Jesus Christ. This is something we can be proud of that our life on this earth had value....

Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dearest John, You have my deepest sympathies on the loss of your father. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your entire family.

I remember Mr.Hilger from the time he was at WJON back in the 50's.We toured his facility as part of a school day.He was gracious and showed us around the station.I have always remembered him thru the years tho I have been away from the ST Cloud area for nearly 50 years. He was truly a great Christian gentleman.

It was pleasure to have worked with both Andy and Carol on one of their many charitable projects. May he now rest in peace,

Very sorry for your loss Carol....you are in my thoughts and prayers. Tanya hoheisel

Carol, you were married to a saint. I will always remember Andy. He was a inspiration to me. He will be missed by all of us who knew him.
