Not sure what to say?

I have been away from Toledo for almost 50 years and as our 50th high school reunion nears, I have just learned that Andy died over a year ago.

My deepest heartfelt condolences to all his friends and families. He was truly a fine young man and one of my classmates at St. Francis. I have fond memories of him and hope his families have found some peace over the last 13 months.

I was deeply saddened just today to learn of Andy's passing. I played starting right tackle in our senior year , doing my best to block for Andy back in the backfield. The guy had no quit, and had a fifth gear when he got in the open through the hole. He played most of 1967 with a special helmet because he had his bell rung a few times but kept on chugging. Andy shared a poem he wrote with me:

Blessed with the Moment,
Measured by Breath.
In my deepest Solitude
... I find Peace.

May you rest in peace Andy,

May you re-claim all parts of yourSELF on your SPIRIT Journey & find peace in the eternal journey of LIFE.

My deepest sympathy for all the Huff family and Andy's children - God rest his soul

My deepest sympathy to the entire Huff Family. May God's GRACE provide you with some comfort during this most difficult time.
GOD Bless, Wilda Coyle - TMD

To the Huff Family,

Andy was a good friend of our family and we will miss him dearly. Andy worked with my son Joe at Grogan Chrysler-Plymouth on Jackman Road.

I will remember Andy's smile, love of football and giving heart. Please know that we will never forget Andy and want to express our deepest sympathy to Andy's family. May Andy rest in peace.

Respectfully,

I didn't know Andy well, but he was always cheerful and always trying to save the planet! :) I will miss his smile. My deepest sympathy.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.
