Jamieson, Andrew E.
Of New London, New Hampshire, passed away on October 31. He was the son of George and Kristyn Jamieson of New London, NH, brother of Ann Bullion of Wellesley, MA and John Jamieson of Sunapee, NH. He was not only our son and brother but also our best friend .
Andrew was born on November 13, 1976 in Providence RI but spent most of his adult life in New Hampshire. He was the fiance of Lindsay Roberts of Newport, NH. They were to be married this month. His relationship with Lindsay and her daughter, Isabella, was the high point of his life. In addition to his parents, siblings and beloved Lindsay and Isabella, he is survived by several nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles.
Andy was one of the most caring and sensitive people that one could know. He spent the past six years with Youth Transitional Services of Easter Seals of New Hampshire, his most recent post being Sr. Youth Support Specialist. He provided patient and kind support to the most challenging and complex students. His dedication of his life to the service of others was his professional goal.
Andy's passion was sports, especially baseball and hockey. He was a consummate Bruins fan and made his thoughts loudly known while watching their games much to the consternation of other couch participants. He also enjoyed finding creative and unusual gifts for his friends and family on
holiday or birthday occasions. Andy's dry wit and caring demeanor will be sorely missed.
A memorial service will be held at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 52 Gould Rd., New London, NH on November 20 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, gifts can be made to Easterseals NH at https://bit.ly/3H6fvQW or to the Development Office 555 Auburn Street, Manchester, NH 03103 where a fund in Andy’s name will be established.
