Not sure what to say?

For many years Orville was a special friend!

In 1949, when I was a young teenager, I first met Orville when my friends and myself were frequent visitors to Orville's "SHADLE LADDLE" in the Shadle neighborhood before there was a high school or park. It was located on the north side of Wellesley between Ash and Oak streets. He always made sure there was our favorite soda, ice cream and jukebox music available. All the neighborhood kids believed he was the greatest - always with his...

Orville will always be in our thoughts and cherished memories. Although often seperated by distance, Orville always felt close and you could talk to him like you saw him yesterday. Orville was a connection to our extended family and reminded us how much we all are linked together, through the generations and across the states, even internationally. He brought a part of Al, Agnes, John, Ernie, and all with him wherever he went. Through many trips to Hayden Lake, fishing expeditions in BC,...

Orville you taught me alot about salemanship! You taught me alot about taking care of the customer and how to bring a smile to them. I will always remember your humor and those darn buttones you always wore! You were a legend then and a legend now. Thank you for leaving your mark in an industry. Jeff

I have many great memories of my Great Uncle Orville, the first that comes to mind is he always called me Agnus. He called my friends Agnus too! He enjoyed teasing and making others laugh while making us all feel welcome in his home or at the cabin. No one ever had to ask for any refreshment, his bar was always open. Cheers to you Uncle Orville!

"I had the good fortune to know Orville for several years recalling favorite memories and good times shared, I admired his kind generosity and unique sense of humor. He will be greatly missed!"

I have some many wonderful memories of "Uncle" Orville. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. I am sure he and my dad are having a cocktail at this very moment.
