O'Brien Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services - South Hadley Obituary

Andrew “Andy” Louis Johnson, beloved by family and friends, passed away in his sleep on November 23, 2024, at age 40. He was born to William Johnson and Dawn (Krause) Krawczyk on July 28, 1984. Andrew honed his exceptional talents in carpentry at Westfield Vocational and went on to become a gifted and highly skilled craftsman. Andy was a joyful and gentle soul who loved animals and enjoyed spending time in nature, tubing with his daughter, fishing, hiking, and snowboarding. His love of the outdoors was matched by his passion for music festivals.

His easy going nature and innate kindness could be seen in his willingness to always help family and friends. He is remembered for so much, by so many, and perhaps most remembered for his infectious laugh and loving heart. Andrew leaves behind his daughter, Haleigh Johnson and her mother Megan (Harper) O’Neill; his parents, William Johnson and Dawn (Krause) Krawczyk; his brother Jack Johnson, and a large and loving family of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He will be dearly missed by a loving family and an abundance of friends.

Services will be private. The O’Brien Family Funeral Home in South Hadley has been entrusted with the arrangements. For more information or to make online condolences please go to obrienfamilyfh.com.
