Not sure what to say?

Love of my life! How do I ever describe how I feel, how very much I miss you and what will never be forgotten. You opened so many doors for me to explore - sailing, scuba, photography, long walks on the trails, belief in myself and most importantly to love completely. I think of you all the time and talk with you every night. I know how much you loved me and you knew how much I love you! You left so many people with so many gifts, your love of laughter, your love of knowledge, your generosity...

Dear Andy, We called each other "bro" and I really felt the love between us. You were such a caring, intelligent and generous person. My trips to Virginia were very special ones, and I shall never forget the wonderful, energetic times we spent together. To name just a few... backpacking with Stan, Jane, and Marty; cycling through Reston; visiting the Holocaust museum in DC during which you took a zillion pictures; and crazily walking on a frozen LI bay during a deep freeze one winter with...

Oh, Andy, how I miss you. I will always remember when you gave me a note that read "please be my legal roommate." I still have it. It was the beginning of our life together. Of course we had our happy times and sad times, but I only remember the happy ones. You gave more than you received, always. Your love was true and sincere. You delighted in many things that so many people took for granted. I will always remember you as a sailor-seaman, lover of books and history, explorer, star...

Dear Andy,
You had the biggest heart - thank you for sharing that with us. You had the greatest passion. You were solid in your beliefs and you were able to teach through your life and by how you shared yourself. I miss you and your energy. I have a small bear that you sent me (through Riva) when I went into the hospital. Thank you. It sits on my bed and makes me think of you -- has been there since my first surgery!

More importantly, I have great memories of times and...

Andy was a kind and generous and sensitive man who always wanted the people around him to be happy. Andy's superior intelligence and passion for knowledge was incredible. I loved when he talked about World History with such excitement and authority. I will miss so much his great storytelling ability and his wondrous sailing adventures. What I want to remember most were the times when the 3 of us laughed and hugged, and his incredible and always present love for my sister, Riva - even through...

Andy was without a doubt one of the most wonderful and kind hearted people I’ve ever been blessed to have in my life. He was not only the greatest friend to me, but also a true father and mentor. My life will certainly not be the same without him and he’ll be missed more than words can say.

Dearest Riva
We love you more than you know. You are in our thoughts always and we pray daily for the healing and consolation of your heart. The 1 consolation for us is that our beloved Andy is at peace now and watching over you Riva, the love of his life. We are here for you always Riva. Love Elle and Dan

Andy,
We miss you beyond belief. You were our only true friend and mentor. We will forever treasure our debates and conversations. You are proof that kind and generous people do exist. You were one of a kind and will be missed. We love you.
