Dr. Kees took care of my Daddy. He did heart stints numerable times. He was always on call - he gave us his cell number! His heart for everyone meant he was awesome about taking care of others´ hearts. He is the reason my Daddy lived longer. To his daughters, thank you for sharing your Daddy with us.

Andy - It's been many years since we served, learned, and worked together during our internship at USNH, San Diego but I still remember your smarts, energy, and generosity. You were a great friend and trusted colleague, and you helped to keep me strong during that tough, but rewarding, year. Godspeed on your journey... always with fair winds and following seas. Peace.

Dr Kees was an amazing physician. He went above and beyond to help us when Michael got turned down fir a lung transplant at UAB. They cited heart problems, but Dr Kees read and interpreted the heart tests and wrote a letter so Michael would be accepted for a lung transplant at UPenn in Philadelphia. We will miss his smile and great bedside manor. He made us feel like we were his only patients. Pensacola lost a wonderful physician. God Bless all of you.

To the family of Dr. Kees. Dr Kees was my cardiologist and he was an amazing person. He was extremely kind and very down to earth not to mention handsome. I called him Dr Tall and Tan. He would just smile and continue his work. He was a fantastic Dr with a personable amazing bed side manor. I'm so sorry for his families loss.
