ANDREW ARTHUR (ART) KIMERY
On Wednesday, December 20, 2017 Art Kimery, of Winnipeg, Manitoba, passed away at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 79 years.
Art is survived by his wife Betty; daughter Janice Forest (Cam) of Brandon; son Andrew (Rita) and daughter Leslye (Paul) Fisher of Winnipeg; six grandchildren, Dylan and Kyra Forest, Renelle and Nadia Kimery, Alexandria and Tyler Fisher; as well as his brother James (Cheryl) Kimery and nephew Scott (Penny) Kimery of Kipling, Saskatchewan. He was predeceased by his parents and his niece Monica Kimery.
On January 25, 1938 Art was born in Kipling, Saskatchewan to Andrew and Barbara (Daku). He moved to Winnipeg in 1957 to further his education. On August 18, 1962 he married Betty Perreault in Winnipeg. Art was employed as an accountant for 50+ years, continuing to serve clients well after retirement. He was an avid sports fan and a diehard fan of the Saskatchewan Roughriders. He also enjoyed reading, gardening and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Vital Roman Catholic Church, 1629 Pembina Hwy with Rev. Fr. Mark Tarrant presiding. A private Interment will follow.
