Not sure what to say?

I will always cherish my memories of working for Andy in the Promotion Department of The New York Times. He was a brilliant, kind and wonderful person to know and commissioned the best talents to produce the work. A very special person, always in my heart.

Andy will be forever missed . He was kind, with great artistic vision. I so enjoyed working for him when he was Promotion Art Director at The New York Times. His vibrant spirit lives on to all who were fortunate to be in his presence.

Andy will always hold a special place in my heart. Working for him at The NY Times was the "best of Times" and I honor his memory today. Kind remembrances to Andy Kner's family and friends.

Andy, you lived a good life, a productive life, and you helped people, especially artists! I always loved running into you at the Times, and I appreciate the beautiful b&w spread you offered in PRINT of my Palestinian refugee camp photos (which sadly still remain in Beirut.) Farewell, and good journey to you.

My heartfelt condolences to the family. May you draw comfort from God' promise in Job 33:25 - "he will return to the days of his youthful vigor" and we draw comfort that with God all things are possible.

I was a gal Friday, but within a short time moved into the editorial department, where I remained for 20 years. During that time, Andy and Carol became my very good friends. We shared not only the love of our work but also movies, dinners, books, and trips to the country. In all that time, Andy was like a supportive, older brother to me; his loss...

So saddened to learn of Andy's passing.
I worked in the Promotion Dept of The NY Times when Andy was our Art Director. He was a special person who had great artistic vision for the projects that our dept. produced and he hired the best creative talents to fulfill them. He was also my mentor and very kind. It was the best of times. My deepest condolences to Carol and the entire family.

Iknew Andrew from 1961 when we came to New York. He ws a wonderful friend...full of fun, knowledge of Art and Books unsurpassed. My condolences to his wonderful wife Carol and Annie and Peter.

I knew Andy when I worked for Print magazine. He was a wonderful, kind and talented man. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
