I now recalled his Afghan dog name was Lady Macbeth! She was a very beautiful dog and very well behaved. I am glad my dad (Jerome Kolenich, his nephew) took us over to Great Uncle Andy's house in Bedford, OH. I visited his grave today, 4/20 and placed a white cross with flowers and red-white & blue ribbon to commemorate his time with his service in WW2. Thank you for your service Great Uncle Andy!!!

Great uncle Andy had a beautiful Afghan dog & I can´t recall her name! He did tricks with her in his backyard in Bedford, Ohio where I grew up as his great niece of his great nephew Jerome Kolenich.

Grandpa and I in the late 1960s...
Still seems unreal that my Grandpa is gone... but I know that he watches over me and my entire family ... he and Grandma always valued family most and I'm sure that hasn't changed now that they are our guardian angels...miss you terribly Grandpa! I love this picture of he and I when I was just barely one year old....the smile on his face is priceless...
