Not sure what to say?

and he visited me in a downtown Toronto hospital, and caught me reading a Louis L'Amour novel (instead of, say, Calvin's Institutes). On noting my embarrassment at being caught, he casually remarked that he too liked some light reading from time to time.
He was a blessing.

He would pause dramatically, remove his glasses, "Worship GOD, Love People, Use things". In that order.". Thank you for your wit and wisdom! Condolences to Jo, Rachel. Jessica and Joshua. Love, Bobcaygeon Grace.

Fond memories of a brilliant man, mentor, preacher, friend, and support to our family. He will be missed. Al & Sonja Horzelenberg Hamilton, Ont. Canada

Fond memories of your Dad as he served in Wallaceburg CRC. Sorry for your loss, may our Lord sustain you and bring you comfort in the knowledge of your father's eternal reward.

I'm so very sorry for your loss, Cora, and am keeping you and your family in my prayers.

I remember when your family first moved to GR and lived around the corner from us in the Boston Square neighborhood. And then I became a neighbor again at Raybrook. So admired both of your parents. Taking just a moment to think of all his contributions to the CRC and will never forget his wonderful sermons. My sympathy to you all. Sorry to miss the service. I am out of town.
Sincerely,
June

Andrew, upon every sighting of James DeBorst Sr. (head shaking), "aagh, those boys, (long pause), but they turned out all right didn't they?" Yes Leonard and I did turn out alright, and your example Andy of a Christian leader had no samll part to play! Thanks for your life well lived. Blessings on all your kids and kin. And un abrazo for Len and Sue.

Cora, I am sorry to hear of your loss. Peace to you.

A name I've known almost forever..... Andy Kuyvenhoven was a good friend of my good friends, Rev. William Buursma and his family. They loved him and cherished his friendship. Over the years I read his Banner editorials and appreciated his wonderful mind and keen sense of what it means to be a follower of Christ in the modern age. I also remember playing in GR Youth Symphony (Dan Kovats, Director) when Cora was playing in the Cello section. Lots of connections.... Much admiration for this man...
