Not sure what to say?

Weptember 2, 2003 Almost a month has passed sincre the tragic loss of Dr. Lanier. I worked with him almost on a daily basis for the past four years of his life. His patients are dismayed when I tell them of our loss. He was dearly loved by his patients. Most or all of them have now been told of his passing. They all express great sorrow and further say how much he helped them, and how much he will be missed. We were so dismayed that we took his office sign down and gave it to the family....

I was very saddened and sorry to hear of Dr. Lanier's death. I worked with him a few times and went out to dinner with him and his daughter, Lauren and other friends one time. I thought he was a very nice person. He seemed to be a very caring doctor and person. Carol

My wife is the former Mary Frances Ruffin. We were saddened to learn of your loss. Jack will be missed.

May the Lord Jesus extend over your lives His covering presence --- may His peace fill your lives at this time.

with deepest sympathy. your father and I were the best of friends all through our childhood. I will remember him often and fondly and will remember all of you in my prayers. Ben Carson

Was glad Jack got to visit with mother when he was here one time. She enjoyed him. He was truly a character and we enjoyed being with him when we were. I remember him coming to City Hall with Gene Copeland one day, together they had all of us in the office laughing. I am truly sorry for your loss but know that God will hold you in the palm of his hand during this time of morning. Know that his entire family is in our prayers.

I was so sorry to hear the sad news about Jack -- and yet so thankful that I was able to visit with him last time he was in Mansfield. He even reminded my mother that I taught him to dance. Jack was a special friend when we were in school together and I am grateful that we were communicating for about the last year.
My prayers and thoughts are with you, his family, and I know and trust that God will hold you close and comfort you.
