My condolences to the Lerner Family.
I was hired by Andy to work as his immigration paralegal at Pavia & Harcourt in the 1990s. It was one of my first jobs after I had moved to New York. Andy was an excellent attorney and pleasure to work for. He represented his clients with the highest of integrity and skill. We shared interests in the arts and music and often talked about those industries in our spare time. Aside from being an amazing attorney, he was also an amazing...

My dad was Phil Schwartz, and he considered Andy's dad Willie as one of his best friends. I knew Willie well also, worked there sometimes in the summer, and he had a great impact on my knowledge about music. I may have met Andy or not, but my mom remembers having met, and brother Tim also knew him a bit. As a family, we express our sorrow to hear about his untimely passing, and hope you are all doing ok.

My heartfelt condolences to the Lerner family. I was so sorry to hear of Andy's passing. He was my downstairs neighbor (in the old walkup) and friend for many years. Andy had a warm, wonderful sense of humor and more talent in his little finger than most folks get in a lifetime. He left us far too soon and will be missed by all who knew him.

My sincere condolences to The Lerner family.

Every day with him was an enjoyable one for me thanks to his very positive outlook and friendly personality. As Andrew went on to become a major figure in the NY immigration bar I was always proud of his achievements.
He has been taken at far too young an age but leaves a sturdy legacy as a lawyer and a...

I was so sorry to read of Andrew's passing. He and I used to play together on the beach in Westport. Later, I worked for his father at Music Masters. It sounds like he had a happy and fulfilled life. All my sympathy to the family, especially Julie.
