I was so saddened to read of Dr. Loew's passing. I was a childhood friend of Andrea's and spent many years with their wonderful, loving family. I have reflected many times over the years about what a kind human being he was. Dr.Loew was my oldest son's pediatrician many years ago until we moved to AZ. I ran into Dr.and Mrs. Loew at a resort here in Scottsdale about 10 years ago and it was as if we had never skipped a beat....a wonderful heart and a great memory for people and...

Dr Lowe was not only our childrens pediatrician, but also my two oldest grandchildren. He was a dedicated doctor who cared about children. He saved my youngest daughter's life.
I am deeply saddened by the news. My sincere condolences to the Loew family.

I am so sorry for your loss. Dr. Loew was not only my children's doctor, but my husband's doctor as well. We really liked him, unfortunately we had to switch because of our insurance. Imagine my suprise when we were scrolling through the obituaries and there is a picture of my daughter when she was three or four...she is now 18. I totally remember taking that picture and it is also in Melissa's scrapbook.
Our prayers are with your family.

Dr. Loew was my pediatrician from 1966 until I was out of college. He was very kind, caring, and I knew when I left his office, I was on the road to recovery. I am saddened by this news. Condolences to his family.

I just saw this and I am so sad to hear this. Dr Lowe was a great man! He saved my life more than once as a child with severe asthma, allergies and eczema. He use to call and visit me at home. I still saw him while I was in college because I did not trust my health care by anyone else. Eventually I had to get an adult MD! What a great great guy!

I remember going to Dr. Loew's office on Dixie Highway starting in the kindergarten and continuing up to my high school years. His kind & gentle manner, along with his resonant voice, left a deep impression on me. I knew I would be feeling better soon after a visit with him... and those Dum-Dums certainly helped.
After I left the Chicago area, my father George would often speak fondly of his tennis buddy "Andy". I saw Dr. Loew for the last time at my Dad's memorial service 6 years...

Dear Rita and family,
I was saddened to her about Andy's death from Ed, and am so sorry about your loss. It's also a great loss to me, as Andy was such a kind and considerate friend and doctor. He saw my children through good health and some not so good. I'll always remember how he came to the house with a special vaporizer when my son, Michael had a bad case of brocnchitis. He was a good man, and we all cherished having him as a friend and a doctor.
