Not sure what to say?

We miss Andy more than I can express here. I think of him every single day & everywhere I look I see Andy & Thomas-Andy on his belly leaning on his elbows & Thomas sitting with one knee bent up while building incredible things w/ legos, out in the marsh at low tide picking up bottles & trash, vegged out on the sofas watching a movie, sitting in front of the computer laughing at some funny video they'd found, piling out of the car at the Dollar General to get an after school snack, one sitting...

When I was out visiting a few years back, it surprised me how a 10 year old 'desired' to cook us breakfast, and then did a great job with the cooking AND the serving! What a pleasure it was, and now is a (bitter)sweet memory.

Pigeon River, July 2010

Irene and Katie,
Andy is missed in so many ways.

Sending you our love and support, always.

Irene and Katie:
We continue to pray for comfort and that your memories of Andy will help cushion your pain.

I miss you, little bro. "Stir It Up" by Bob Marley will ALWAYS be "Cereal," thanks to you. Love, always.

Thinking of you, Andy.

Andy was always great about humoring his Aunt Kathy...even when I made him pose for photos. We miss him.

I last remember Andy's smiling, friendly face, his blond hair flowing, at the Smoky Mountain cabin/ family vacation.

I think of Andy often. May he rest in peace.

I do not know your family but as a parent of a St. Andrews student my heart aches for you. I am so sorry for your loss. Let us all be reminded of how fragile life is and to cherish every moment with the ones we love.
