I remember Andrew from working with him on events for the Guild, back when I was at Columbia. He was both friendly and serious -- a grown-up. I am so pleased at the large family who survive him and extend my condolences to them.

Andy was my neighbor over the fence, one of my closest friends in high school (class of 1957), and a man I was always happy to connect with over these many decades. His outgoing, generous spirit and enthusiasm made every occasion special. He will be sorely missed.
