Not sure what to say?

To Mrs. Dorris Maynard and Family,
My family and I were so sorry to hear of Mr. Maynard's passing. We so fondly remember talking with you and your lovely family at Garden Terrace where Mr. Maynard and my father Mr. Allie Woods, Sr. shared living arrangements. My mother (Georgia Woods) so fondly remembers your thoughtfulness in singing "This Little Light of Mine" with dad. The Lord also chose to call dad home Thursday, January 31, 2008 at 8 p.m. One thing I know from briefly meeting you...

Dorris, I'm so sorry to hear of Jack's passing, I will keep you and your family in my Thoughts and prayers. Morry Searcy

My dear sister, I wish so much that I could have been with you yesterday and today. I will miss my big "brother" Jack so very much. He was a wonderful friend and family member. Take care of yourself and I'll see you soon. Love, Loie

As a friend of Bill & Jeanette McKay, I only met Jack once, but almost 10 years later, I remember his warm smile, outgoing love for people and thoughtfulness towards people he didnt even know. Lifelong friends, as he was to Bill & Jeanette are a rare find and speaks of a person's devotion to serving others over and above his own interests. Know that your loss reaches caring people in North TX.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. I remember so fondly our
Sunday dinners at Lubys on W. Gray
after church when so many of our
fellow church members gathered.
He was a fine person and we will
all see each other again. What a
comfort it is to have that assurance. God bless you, Dorris

Dorris, we at Scurlock in CT will alway remember you and your Honey coming to visit. We are very sorry for your loss and know we are thinking of you and family.

Dorris: I want you to know that you and Jack have been in my thoughts and prayers for a very long time. I talked to Jack a while back on the phone. We had a great conversation. While it has been years since I was in Houston at FUMC, I talk about Single Aires and both of your love and support of that class. Jack still remains the best Sunday School Teacher that I have ever had in my adult life. I know you will miss him.

Dorris: I am so sorry for your loss. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.
