Im so sorry to hear about andy just now. I knew andy in minnesota and played with him in the jazz band and the Galen "Fats" Robinson quintet, sextet, octet, trio depended on who we could get to play. I saw andy last time in manhattan and had a little reunion. andy was a great bass player and musician. Quiet guy and good friend

My precious Andy.. l loved him soooooo much and miss and talk about him all the time with Patience Higgins..who was his close friend and played with him in "The Sugar Hill Quartet''..

Stuart H. Tresser A/K/A "Hank Johnson"

It is ashame the timing is bad! I first saw Andy McCloud performing in Harlem at the Lenox Lounge. I enjoyed his great bass playing as I appreciate the lines as I am a jazz pianist. I would of liked to have him on my record label: Jazzbone Records. God bless him.

To all Andy's friends and family, I was on a camping trip and had my son look up Andy on the computer after not hearing of him for years. Didn't find out till then that he passed. So sorry to hear that. Was going to call and have a few laughs about San Francisco, when he played here, and we went out on the Town. We met at Lea College in Minnesota and he was the "Man on the Bass". Always fun when he played. Loved you Man. Thanks for the memories! Schock
