Martha, Drew & all the family:
What a splendid life Andy lived ... great defensive player for SU, always guarding the opponent's best player ... 38 years as coach/administrator ... oh, that I wish he had been head coach of varsity hoops! ... a Letterman of Distinction who lived his life with distinction and humility, who loved his family and SU ... we had such great times playing Stag Day golf tournaments at Tuscarora and Radisson Greens ... and now he's back with Mary, on heaven's green...

Andy always sat behind us at St. Michaels church for many years. He was always in a pleasant mood, even when we knew his health was failing. We will miss Andy sitting in the back of the church behind us, and know he is now with his lovely wife. Our condolences to his family.

To the Family of Coach Mogish,
I received a basketball scholarship from Syracuse U. in 1956 and Andy was my freshman coach. I had come from a broken home and he became my Father figure. A great coach that instilled in me that winning the right way was what life is about. I became a business executive in later life and I feel everything coach taught me developed me into the person I was. Wonderful coach; a great mentor.

Condolences to the family of Coach Mogish.
I had the honor and great good fortune of playing basketball and baseball for Andy during my years at Syracuse, class of 1960.
What always stood out in my memory was his superb teaching abilities and his fierce competitive spirit. I continued to apply those defensive lessons he had taught us over my own years as a basketball coaching.
I also had the honor of introducing him to my own son, also a basketball coach, during a breakfast meeting...
