Not sure what to say?

Dear Morgans,
My sister called me and told me the tragic news about sweet Andy. Words cannot express the sympathy we feel for you and your family. It is just one more reminder to continue to embrace life and the ones we love on a daily basis. Many prayers for peace in your lives and much love is sent your way from our family.

Dear Cindy, Clayton, Lilly and Elliot:

I have not yet met your family however with all the wonderful stories that my friend Glenn Sledd has been telling me over the past few months and, especially, the past week, I feel like I should know all of you, especially Andy. Andy was a dear, dear friend to Glenn growing up in the neighborhood on Sunny Lane and at the park. He treasures so many experiences he had with Andy and told me all about the bike ride from Seattle to Austin that...

Cindy, Lilly, Clayton, Elliot and family, We were heartbroken to hear about Andy. He was and is a wonderful being. Although Jordan knew him better than I (and liked him so much)I will always remember Andy. He left a lasting impression. I remember him sitting on our couch playing guitar and radiating talent and warmth. It appeared to me that here was a young man that was better than good at anything he turned his attention to. He asked me about painting, and said that he wanted to learn to...

My heart goes out to the Morgans. Andy was a friend of mine at Pacific Lutheran University. I feel so lucky to have the memories of fun and adventurous times shared with Andy throughout my college years. These memories are bright and happy spots in my mind. When I think of Andy I immediately smile; he always had a good line to tell. His loss is being felt throughout the PLU community.

I have a feeling that you are going to receive a lot of these postings, letters, and emails from so many people you probably only met a few times...if at all. Andy is and was a work of art, the article in the post said it best - full of light and love. Your son is amazing. He IS a blessing and will remain one in each of our hearts and memories forever. I want you to know that he left a lasting impression on too many wandering souls. I will keep you in my prayers, knowing that with a son like...

Cynthia and Clayton and Andy's entire family,

Andy was one of my favorite students and I treasured my time with him. I loved his joy for life and learning and especially his curiosity and interest in so many things. I always looked forward to seeing him and listening to him talk about his love of music, especially jazz. Though I was his tutor, it was he who was teaching me. I will miss him greatly, and will never forget him.

Sean
