Andy was one of my best friends from 5th grade until we went on our missions. We had tons of fun doing stupid stuff and playing sports together in the neighborhood. I will also always remember Andy for good kid that he was and how he worshipped his brother MK. I had so many good times with Andy. I feel bad that our friendship didn't stay closer.

Andy, my brother, I love and miss you my friend. News of your passing today was hard to hear. I have laughed and cried while remembering all the memories from the "good ol' days". I will always have awesome memories of Andy growing up. We had great times with all the basketball battles at the Wilkinson's and backyard football at O'neil's. He was always so easy going and friendly to all. I'm very sorry for your loss.

I am so very shocked and saddened to hear about Andy's passing. I remember him as such a sweet and precocious little boy when Kim and I were close friends in San Diego in 1985. I will have fond memories of Andy and the entire Mortensen family always. I wish you all peace during this difficult time.
