Not sure what to say?

To the Novak Family;
Lots of great memories with Andy. From Kindergarden at Natomas to 12th grade at Norte. I played more chess games with Andy than any other person. We were on the chess team together at Norte and were also on the swim team together. Our prayers are with you. The Pendell's

To Andy's family, We remember Andy's smiles, good humor and yes, his green hair. Its been a long time since high school and the last time we saw Andy but he remains among our happy memories. Please accept our deepest sympathy for Andy's loss.

I want to thank each of you who wrote about your memories of Andrew. I really appreciate your kind words, your connection to Andrew and your thoughts. I was married to Andrew for 15 years and he has two beautiful daughters, Nicole age 21 and Rachel age 16 and, loved Jenna as his own, age 12. So many wonderful friends shared at his memorial. It was a day to remember for us. It was great to see our old friends. Thank you again. Maleah Novak

I just learned of Andy's passing. We were classmates at Norte del Rio and, although we didn't "hang out" together, we shared many friendly conversations. I thought he was awfully shy and cute. I remember him having green hair during the summer months! In my adult years when I worked at the Traveler's Building on "J" Street, it somehow came to my attention that he worked out in the buiding's gym, where I was also a member. I was told I'd never recognize him because, due to his fanaticism...

Graduated Norte del Rio(now defunct) Class of 1974(now defunct). I remember Andy as an energetic guy that loved water sports. On a light note, one thing that I recall was how NDR's poor chlorination system always had Andy's hair a shade of green during swim season. It' not what we accomplish, or what we amass during our lives that endure, but rather how we live on in the memories of those that remain. I will have fond memories of Andy, and I'm sure I am one of the many.

Dear Novak Family--
I have fond memories of visits to California and time spent with our Novak cousins. I'll always remember Andy as a happy, carefree guy, full of laughter. May the good times you shared provide comfort to you now.

-Cousin Barbie

Fondest memory of Andy: Watching him get off the bus, getting into his dingy and rolling himself home. I thought that was the coolest.

I will always remember Andy and our times growing up in Natomas. I am so sorry and sad to hear that he has passed away. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Those memories are dear to me and I will keep them close to my heart always! Cindy Pappa-Giese

Andy - I'll never forget our times in Natomas. The pool, ping pong at the pool, Rex and Dale. End of airport runway parties and sitting on a fallen log over the river. Silver Toyota Celica and Van Halen Ice Cream Man. I will forever play that song for you and dance in your memory. I know nothing meant more to you than Nicole and Rachel, watch over them and guide them from above. I love you and will never forget the times we had. Maleah, please contact me as I have lost your number.
