Andrew Jackson Patton WATERLOO -- Andrew Jackson Patton, 86, of 2174 Blakely Road, widower of Willie Pruitt Patton, died Monday, March 9, 2015 at NHC of Laurens. Born in Otto, NC, he was a son of the late Arthur and Maybelle Rogers Patton. He was a member of Beaverdam Baptist Church, of Mountville, and a veteran of the US Air Force. He was retired from Illinois Central Railroad. Surviving are: one son, Philip Patton of San Diego, CA; one daughter, Andra Knecht of Clarkesville, GA; a stepdaughter, Kristina Fuller of Birmingham, AL; a brother, Courtney Patton of Liberty Center, OH; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Sheryl Sha'afi; two brothers, Robert and Frank Patton; and two sisters, Bessie Davis and Pearl Stanfill. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Beaverdam Baptist Church, with Rev. Phil Bryson officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Beaverdam Baptist Church Senior Citizens Ministry, 1555 Beaverdam Church Road, Mountville, SC 29370.
