Andrew Petyak Jr.

Andy was a fine teacher and a gentle soul. We still hang the Cardinal that he gave me one Christmas on our tree every year.

So sad to hear of Herr Petyak´s passing. He was a favorite teacher of mine, always funny and caring. He made learning fun and selling Haribo gummies super cool. The world will miss him.

Was very sorry to learn of Herr Petyak's passing. Taking four years of German at East Pennsboro was one of the best things I ever did. Herr Petyak was an amazing educator, not just regarding German language instruction, but also in the realms of history and English. Most off all, he had an amazing gift for making learning fun. My thoughts are with his family at this difficult time. Auf Wiedersehen, mein Freund.

I worked in the office at East Pennsboro High School. Andy was one of the best teachers there. My sons both took German and loved him. Any event at EP you could always depend on Mr. Petyak there supporting the students. A super person who will be missed. My condolences to the family. Diane Putt

I had Mr. Petyak for history in my 9th grade year at East Penn High (Class of 87). He was one of the teachers I had that helped to break me out of my shell. He also helped me to love history by the way he taught, outside of the box and always fun. My heartfelt condolences to his sister and family. Rest easy Mr. P and without pain.

So sorry to hear this sad news. My condolences to Andy's sister. I got to know Andy as a fellow teacher at East Pennsboro High School. I enjoyed our brief chats at the school and seeing his infectious smile! May he Rest In Peace, and may we all remember the good times with Andy and that smile of his!
