Andrew Thomas "Fish" Phipps

I was so heartbroken to learn of this news. Fish was a great colleague and even though we didn't work closely together, at UCSC, he was a memorable presence. Whenever I would run into him at events he was always a joy to talk to. He made an impact in his short life and his memory will be carried on in Lucas, Angie and all who knew him. My prayers are with all his family and friends.

We always enjoyed seeing you, and talking to you , You are such a happy presence in the condo complex. We are very sad to find out that you have passed on so early in your life. And I hope that everyone will have happy memories of you and your upbeat personality. Condolences to Angie and your son Lucas. May God watch over them and may you rest in peace. Fish was an absolutely wonderful colleague at the UCSC Library-warm, funny, kind, and always helpful. He will be so greatly missed. My deepest condolences to his family.
