Dear Polakowski family,
I'm sorry to say I never really knew your son that well. He was an aquatince of mine at most, but I'm glad I knew him. In the classes I had with him, I remember him as friendly, funny, and always making people smile. He will be missed. I wish there was some way we would could help ease the pain.

Although I didn't know Andy I am deeply saddened by his death. I hope that his family, friends, and those in Stradley hall know that so many people are praying for them. We can only hope that good will come out of this horrible tragedy. Andy was a great person and a true friend. He is in a better place now and will forever be in the hearts of those he loves and those who love him. He will always be remembered by the OSU community.

Dear Polakowski family,
I went to high school with Andy and was in many of his classes during our four years there. I am so sorry for your loss. Andy was an amazing young man with a wonderfully optimistic attitude towards life. He was the kind of person one is lucky to meet in life- the person who is always there for everyone, ready to sacrifice anything for anyone. God blessed his life in so many ways. He also blessed those who had the privilege to meet Andy as they were able to...

Dear Andy's family,
From our home to yours here goes a loving thought: Although we did not know Andy when he was among us, now that he has preceded us in that path towards our ultimate home we have learned so much about him - he was kind and thoughtful, a great friend, a great athlete and he was always smiling. Thank you for bringing him up to be a wonderful kid. What a gift he was to the world and how sad that he was taken from us so suddenly.
We are keeping you in our hearts.

Polakowski Family,
I wanted to share this with you...I attended the Ohio State/Minnesota football game on Saturday with my daughter, who is also a student at Ohio State. Before the game they had a moment of silence for Andy...imagine over 105,000 students, families and friends praying for you and your son. The football team also had his initials on their helmets. It was so touching. You know that the entire Ohio State community has you in their thoughts and prayers.
I just had to...
