Andrew was my hero on the Big Screen a seemingly clone of James Dean with impeccable acting skills. Of course, Andrew and James both drove Porsches and they both were Blood Brothers when it came to work. While James Dean may have been " A Rebel Without A Cause, Andrew Prine was " A Rebel With A Cause" especially when he starred in a 1964 episode of : The Fugitive portraying Dr. Richard Kimbles´ younger rebellious brother . I love you dearly Andy and your movie Star facial features will live...

I remember you, Andrew, from your role as "Steve" in "V" and its sequel, "The Final Battle." At this moment I'm looking at you on the Hitchcock hour, as a mechanic who was healed from ulcers by a "faith healer." I'm glad you had a successful acting career. May God comfort your family at this time. And may the memories of you sustain them.

I first came to experience Mr. Prine's charm and acting talent in the film "Bandolero", where he stood out in a role that could have been a forgettable, minor character. But he imbued it with dignity and honor, making it memorable, as he did all the roles he played across the years. May I here express my admiration for his talent, and my sincerest condolences to his family for their loss. As the epitaph for his character in "Bandolero" read, he was "a good boy", any many will miss him.
