Love Was All Around
As a lawyer, Andrew I. Rosenblum grew frustrated with defending the guilty and, sometimes, seeing the innocent convicted. So he left the law and entered the world of finance, eventually becoming a vice president at Cantor Fitzgerald. When entertaining clients, he had a knack for listening and making people feel comfortable, said his wife, Jill. "Andrew was always able to make people feel at ease."
He took his sons, Jordan, 14, and Kyle, 11, to Islanders hockey games and made sure they got to meet the players. He took them to a concert and there was Jordan, on stage with Elton John. "There was something magical about my brother," said Adam Rosenblum, the youngest of Andrew's three siblings.
"All I ever wanted to do was be just like him."
In May, Mr. Rosenblum, 45, had a near-death experience during surgery for a herniated disk in his neck. To celebrate his recovery, the family held a huge barbecue, with a magician and "I Survived Andy's Surgery" T-shirts, at their home in Rockville Centre, on Long Island. Afterward, Mrs. Rosenblum said, "He told me he never realized how many people loved him."

To All the people who have posted their remembrance of my brother Andy, I thank you from the depths of my heart. The loss is as fresh today as it was almost 22 years ago. Andy's legacy lives on in the hearts and minds of so many people. Our mother Barbara is now in heaven with him, no doubt laughing her head off.

In loving memory of Andrew Ira Rosenblum.
While visiting the 9/11 Memorial, your name and birthday rose captured my eye and my heart. Sharing this photo in loving memory of you and in support of those who were blessed to know and love you.

20 years have gone by in an instant. Not a day has passed when Andrew was far from my mind and heart. Tonight, August 30, 2021, corresponding to 23rd Elul on the Hebrew Calendar, is the 20th Anniversary of this horrible event. You can honor Andy's legacy by making a contribution to charity in his memory. I know Andy is smiling in heaven together with my mother and father, brother in law Paul, my grandparents and great grandparents. No doubt, Andy has been telling them jokes every day. BDE.

Our sincere condolences we send to your family. With each new day may God give the support needed to continue to cope with such a sad loss. Andy is still sadly missed and is not forgotten. May the time finally come when these violent acts that cause so much sadness and heartache end.

Every time I look down the street, walk the dog past the house he lived in with Jill and the boys I think of Andy. I think about how fast 18 years can go by. I miss seeing Andy.

My university (The University of Tulsa) gave out wristbands today for remembrance, and I picked Andrew's at random, then looked him up. I see he was called Andy but that seems too familiar for me to call him that. I was here in Tulsa when the event occurred but had lived in NYC for 20 years before that, so my heart was broken for/with everyone there. I send my condolences to the family, with love. I hope peaceful closure will come to all.

Reading all the thoughts and memories memorializing Andy's life and premature passing brought bittersweet thoughts. I knew Andy from our carefree high school times when he was always the one to make us all laugh. He 'wined and dined' with us and then we went off to SUNY-Binghamton together. Just attended the memorial at the tower and said a prayer for you and yours Jill -god bless

I think I was in 7th or 8th grade when I saw Andy and Jill in "Guys and Dolls" at South. They were both very talented and left a big impression on me. If I remember clearly, Adam inherited some of Andy's flair in his own unique way. I am glad I got to know Andy even if it was only on stage. The world is a better place because he was here.
